Dear visitor,
We are delighted with your interest and subscription to the igedo-tradeservice platform.
With the igedo-tradeservice we invite you to:
- Present yourself in a professional environment
- Find sales and trade partners for your products
- Find manufacturers’ ranges for your sales and marketing
- Generate business contacts
- Open up new sales and marketing channels
- Contact sector partners
- Extend and maintain your network
Your igedo-tradeservice profile as an international business card:
Open up new contacts to members who are of interest to you and use your profile to determine how you would like to be found. You yourself decide how you design and structure your profile and with whom you would like to make contact.
The tri-lingual system (German, English, Russian) researches the matching partners for you several times a day. And it does so completely automatically without you having to do anything.
How the igedo-tradeservice works:
Once your accreditation enquiry has been positively confirmed, your next step should be to completely establish your subscriber profile. To this end you must complete several dialogue steps:
- If necessary adapt your log-in password
- Establish your personal data
- Establish your agency / business data
- Establish your “I am offering” profile
- Establish your “I am searching for” profile
If you are able to still further optimize your profile, then you will find tips and information on how to do so under the “overview” menu tab
All dialogues or the form entries contained therein are supported by context-sensitive tool-tips. The system thus supports you in entering the required data.
Once you have completed this task, the system is ready and takes into account your profile during the subsequent searches.
The Matching
The matching process is based on “I am searching” or “I am offering” definitions, which you can select under the same-name tabs in the navigation menu.
Activities
Matches provision (how matching partners are brought together)
- When an “I am offering” criterion from one subscriber matches the “I am searching for” criterion from another subscriber.
- When an “I am searching for” criterion from one subscriber matches the “I am offering” criterion from another subscriber.
When a match has not been read for 14 days
When a match has not been read for 30 days
Note. Any subsequent modification to the “I am searching for” or “I am offering” criteria does not result in new matches, as the subscribers already know each other from the initial contact.
Messages (notification) provision (when messages are generated)
- When an accreditation enquiry has been approved
- When an accreditation enquiry has been rejected
- When forgotten log-in data is to be sent once again
- When an “I am offering” criterion from one subscriber matches an “I am searching for” criterion from another subscriber.
- When an “I am searching for” criteria from one subscriber matches an “I am offering” criterion from another subscriber.
When a match has not been read for 14 days
When a match has not been read for 30 days
- When the subscriber sends another subscriber a message via the matching portal.
- When a system message is generated (to all subscribers simultaneously)
Note: Igedo reserves the right to send messages to all subscribers with contents on trade fair-specific themes.
Delete functions (when matches or messages are deleted)
- When a match from one subscriber is deleted, then the matching subscriber(s) (matching partner(s)) are deleted. Messages received from or sent to these partners can still be read but no longer answered.
Note: In this case it is assumed that there is no longer any interest in the subscriber contact(s)/ relationship(s) and that as a result such matches are removed from the system. A message to the partners is then not generated for data-protection reasons.
- When a subscriber deletes the message from another subscriber in the post-in tray, there are no further activities.
- When a subscriber deletes a transmitted message in the post-out tray, there are no further activities.
Accreditation account (activating, deactivating)
If, following the 30-day reminder mail, a subscriber still does not respond in the next 10 days (opens matches or messages), the account assumes “inactive” status. Even after this period, the subscriber does however have the possibility of re-activating the subscriber’s account once again by entering their log-in data and thus re-subscribing to the Igedo-tradeservice.
When entering the log-in data the following dialogue appears:
“You have not responded to the 30-day reminder. The system has therefore deactivated your subscriber account. You can reactivate your subscriber account by entering your correct log-in data”.
To do this, please click on the “reactivate a count” button. Please then look at the matches found by the system under the “Matching Partners” menu tabs and at any possible messages received under “Messages”.
